The House met at 2.80 p.m. The whole of the afternoon sitting was taken up with formal business, before tlie orders of thc day were proceeded with. At the evening sitting, the Premier sajd Cabinet had decided that there 4>e no further prosecutions' of conscientious objectors or military defaulters. He understood there wore no conscientious objectors in prison at the present time, and very few military defaulters. This decision would opeviltc from the anniversary of the Armistice (Hth Nov.) hut it would not affect those military defaulters who lmd failed to uo duty during tho war and been deprived of civil rights. ’ A debate topic place on the Workers Compensation Amendment Bill, which bad been read a second time profqrinp. Tho Bill was then put through committee with amendments made by the Labour Bills committee, read a third time and passed. The House rose at 1.43 mm.
