(Reuter’s Telegram.! IRISH HAPPENINGS. LONDON, October 14. It is reported that the bomb explosion in a house in New Ross killed seven persons. There are five wounded persons now kept in custody. I hey are charged with “experimenting in bomb-making.’ ’ The organisation by the Government in Ulster of a Civil Guard is now nearly completed. The new force comprises two paid classes, permanent forces and occasional police. There are an unlimited number of unpaid volunteers? £IOOO REWARD. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 16. A thousand pounds reward has been offered for information resulting in the arrest of the Sinn Fein, General Daniel Breen, aged 27, formerly a labourer, and described as Commandant of the Third Tipperary Brigade of the Republican Army; also a fanatic of sulky appearance and leader of a gang specialising in murderous outrages. Breen is wanted on several charges of murdering, including Smyth, cabled on the 14th, when Breen escaped by jumping from a window to a greenhouse injuring his legs. It is believed he has been hiding in England, following a threat of reprisals if Sinn Feiners are released uninjured, by Moore at Hyde, cabled on the 15th.
