| "rkuter’s” telegram.] Attacks in Ireland. (Received this day at 10.20. a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 12. A military raid was made on Prof. Carrolan’B house at Drumconna at three o’clock in the morning, seeking tw r o youths. An affray resulted, two military officers being killed, and the professor wounded in the neck. The assailants escaped. Belfast trades protection tederation have issued a circular stating the Government has been asked to declare a moratorium for Belfast banks, owing to the situation following on the boycott and large withdrawals. A police lorry was ambushed near Roscommon, two being killed and three wounded.
