The Miners’ Union met, and took a secret ballot as to whether work should be ’resumed on the conditions suggested.' The result of the ballot will” not be known until to-morrow afr ternoon.
YORKSHIRE MINERS ATTITUDE. \ 'LONDON, October 8. Tire Yorkshire miners’ oouncil have decided to recommend the members to vote against the datum of an annual output of 242,000,080 tons or more to get a rise. The Gleveland miners’ executive decided to recommend acceptance of a datum.
