The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Amendment Bill was read a first time. The Council adjourned at 3.47 p.m. THE HOUSE; The House met at 2.30 p.m. - The Offenders Probation and Westport Harbour Bills were passed. The Legislative Council Amendment Bill was passed by 36 to 16 and the Hons® rose at 11.20. * . '
