ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. A FIRMER MARKET. (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. . Messrß Matßon and Co. report as follows regarding their stock Gala yesterday Store Sheep—A medium yarding of stor 0 sheep, mostly good wethe/s, and hoggets, and the market was firmer for these sorts, especially good wooled half breds. Best wethers sold to 36/10; ibesfc hoggets to 33/8; one line of good .ewe hoggets making 34/7 to 35/1; others 28/6 to 32/10; wether hoggets 26/3 to 29/-. A few extra good 32/-, inferior 21/- to 24/11. Very few ■ wes were offering. Beef—A comparatively small yarding comprising some excellent quality. The market was decidedly firmer. Best steers sold from £33/10/- to £37/10/-; one exceptionally good- imllock making £4O; prime steers £26/10/- to £33; medium £2l/10/- to £25/10/-; light end unfinished, £ls to £2l; best heifers £l9 to £23; others £l4'to £l7/10/-. Best cows £lB to £23; one extra good to £25/7/6; others £l3 to £l7/10/-. Mutton—A slightly larger yarling than last week, but tli o market was decidedly finder. A large proportion of good wethers were offered hut not many ewes. Best wethers 53/- to 61/-, a, few extra good to 68/6; prime 44/to 52/6; medium, 38/6 to 43/-; graziers 36/6 to 41/- according to wool. Very few ewes were offering.
