WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
Pollards will present to-night at the Princess Theatre a five act “smile 'all the while” feature starring Louise Huff in “Crook of Dreams” a World Film production. A clean wholesale story that deals with the romantic side of life. A story of a girl who has everything in the world she wants—but the man she loves. Few girls on, or off the screen have the charming personality of Louise Huff. On Thursday Francis Hodgson Burnett’s famous drama of International Romance entitled “The Shuttle” produced by the Select Coy. will be Pollard’s star attraction. Constance Talmadge plays the part of Bettina Vanderpool, an appealing and powerful tale, woven with, golden strands of heart interest, and shot with strident emotional scenes that thrill and absorb. As a novel “The Shuttle” ran through 250,000 copies; as a photo-play it will delight millions. Big supports including beautiful scenics and laughable comedies will also be screened.
