The Italian Labour Confederation iave formulated the following twelve joints as the minimum of their demands in connection with the Industiy Rill which a united Commission is now •Irawing up : ' Firstly: That the work-people must •ontrol the purchases of raw material. Secondly: The worker’s must oversee the sale of all finished products. Fourthly: Workers shall control un’oading. . Fifthly: The workers shall assign to uu-h worker what task he or she is best fitted for. • Sixthly: Workers shall the w conditions of employment in the .workshops and industries. Seventhly: Workers ‘control 'of the roneral working expenses, eapeciallv the restricting of the outlay by the present proprietors or the director "ho may be regarded as sharers of the profits . Eighthly : Workers control in any de'visions as to replacing worn-out and in- . ...A, efficient machinery. ~ ™ Ninthly: The maintenance of hygenic conditions. •. Tenthly: Workers to have the right to compel the employers to provide all requisite utensils. ~c. Eleventhly: Workers’ right to eliminate any artificial cris ! s in an indnstry.
