PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS -£ of the Counties Act, public notice is hereby given that a subsequent special meeting of the Council will be held at the County Chambers at 4 p.m. on WEDNESDAY the 13th. DAY OF OCTOBER, 1920 to confirm a resolution passed on the 14th. day of September, 1920, authorising the taking of a poll on Wednesday the 10th. day of November 1920, on the question of raising << special loan not exceeding £3,000 for the purchase of road-making machinery to include a motor tipping lorry, a portable stone crushing plant and elevator and a road roller; such loan to be secured by a special rate not exceeding nine-fourteenths of a farthing in the pound on capital rateable value, and the loan to be repaid in ten years in half-yearly instalments,of £l5O each.
