(Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, Sept. 30th. The Bay of Plenty bye-election took place to-day. The final returns (without absent voters) is as follows: K. S. Williams (Reform) .... 2381 F. J. Lysnar (Liberal) 1729 Majority for Williams ... 652 The weather was wet and cold for the election. At the general election in December, the voting was: Hon MacDonald 2873, K. S. Williams 2005.
