RUSSIA MIX-UP.

:% Electric Telegraph—Cooyri R ut.i

A RED FANATIC. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 28. A Russian newspaper declares the most powerful citizen in Soviet Russia is Olga Gorgoksoff, aged '23, a physically attractive, healthy girl, who is Lenin’s chief inspirer. She fanatically preaches a red holy war against England in Asia. She gained ascendancy over the chief Soviet leaders by a queer mixture of mysticism and impudence, and is the Bolshevik’s Rasputin, with similar influence and practices. She claims to be able to foresee the future and concocts diabolical plans with affecting amazing sangfroid. She recently induced Lenin to dismiss and imprison six high military leaders.

LONDON, Sept. 28.

Poles continue to advance east of Grodno, .and are approaching Vilria. Bolsheviks are in full retreat. It is believed large Red forces are regrouping behind Minsk. The Lithuanian Government, while still hoping for a peaceful settlement of the Polish situation, has issued a stirring appeal to the people to resist the invaders with choppers, scythes and pitchforks, if rifles are unavailable.
