RUGBY RULES
LONDON, Sept. 25,
A special meeting of the Rugby Union unanimously adopted amendments to the rides as previously forwarded to various Dominion unions. Mr Wray presented the New Zealanders’ reply regarding amendments expressing disappointment thereat, adding that while New Zoalaind was loyal it feared that League football would kill Australian Rugby, if the Sydney Conference Amendments were not accepted. Mr Rowland Hill appealed to everybody to keep the, Dominion unions playing under the exact rules as played in England. He thought New Zealand and Australia should lie represented on the International Board. They should officially apply therefore. One delegate, remarked that it seemed too ten iblo that a chance exists of losing such splendid sportsmen.
