Reuter’s Telegrams SHOT BY PATROL. LQNBQt/ Sept. 2;. A police patrol at Abbeyfpale qhot dead two civilians merely for running away when they wero challenged. A BRUTAL MURDER. (Received this day at 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 22. Mr Lynch, a member of Limerick County Council, and a prominent. Sinn Feiner, was shot dead in a Dublin hotel. Some armed men covered the night porter at the Royal Exchange Hotel, while others went upstairs to Lynch’s room and killed him. It is reported that Lynch had acted as a Republican judge.
