The Brisbane Handicap resulted as follows: —,Christisen (40secs.) 1, Felton (ser.) 2, Ritldey (3secs) 3. With tliree-qnailers of a mile to go F'elton, who was just in front of Ripley, was steadily overtaking Christinsen. Wiien Felton was within two lengths of tlie leader, Ripley spurted, but died 'away.
