HOKITIKA TENNIS CLUB
The annual meeting of the Hokitika Lawn Tennis Club was held on Thursday evening in the Education Board Rooms. Mr It. F. Pcrham was elected to the chair and the business of the evening was quickly dispatched. balance sheet having been read and approved the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President—Dr. E. Teichelmnn. Vice-Presidents—Messrs E. H. Wethcy and P. J. McCarthy. Secretary.—Mr \V. P, McCarthy. A strong committee was also, elected to further the interests of the Chib, It was decided to open tennis reason 1920-21 on Saturday the 6th. of November next. Mr Gooch then moved that a. hearty, vote of thanks be passed to Mr M. H. Wethey- who has so capably performed the duties of Secretary for the last" four years. Seconded by Miss Moore aiy.l carried by acclamation. Mr R, F, Pe'V ham also moved that a vote <4 thanks he passed tp Dr. IC, Teiohelmaim for his past services to tin? Club. Seconded by Mr Gooch and carried unanimously, the members expressing their regret at the unavoidable absence of the Doctor and wishing him a speedy p-SQWY V' good liealtl), Tlie, meeting then terminated with the usual yctfe of thanks to the chair.
