POLLARD’S PICTURES.
TO-NIGHT.
To-night Pollards will screen a big Select feature starring Alice Brady in “Marie Ltd.” The people that frequented the exclusive shop of “Marie Ltd.” were rich wonieii arid chorus girls principally. Marie became rich and famous selling hats, exclusive, entrancing, to rich people. Money went to her head, and as she couldn’t get enough honestly, she tried the other way—then her health broke down and her daughter crime to carry on in her absence. The. combination of the ohnirming daughter, hats, love, unscrupulous business methods, a ” good young man, a bad old man, a “Perfect Lydy,” make up a delightful story. A woman will spend three weeks picking out a hat, and one week in wearing it out—A mail will spend five minutes picking blit a hat and one year in wearing it out—wliy? . A woman never wears a hat out—really—she just tires of it. A man tires of his hat—but has to wear it out. Yes, —you’re quite right—a man wrote this. “Marie Ltd.” had rows and rows of hats, and there were love and romance, youth and old iige, happiness and .heartache hovering round them all the-trine. A word to husbands:—Don't forget to see “Marie Ltd.”—you’ll see how it’s dono —lots of little trade secrets creep out. The second episode of the new serial “The Mystery pf 13,” will also be shown.
Pollard’s Pictures are repeating tonight the screamingly funny comedy which appeared in last night’s programme.

Yes! the story is extraordinary. But every cloud.has its silver lining and there rife brighter tilings in this picture- than the title, “The Haunted Bedroom,” suggests. For instance, there is that. brilliant star, Enid Bennett; and the cheerful little romance—and—well why not see the picture, it’s great! Further chapters of the serial “The Grey S- ri.” and a Sunshine Comedy: “The Merry Gaolbird,” complete a, fine programme.
