LATE LOCALS.

Constable E, J, Cavroll who has been in charge of Stafford Police Station, has received word of his transfer to Whatatoko Police Station in Gisborne district, and leaves for his new destination in about ten days’ time. He has been stationed in the Greymouth Police district for about 13 years, 'and was formerly in charge at Waiuta, and at the State Coal Mine, Runanga. He has been in indifferent health of late and the warmer climate will suit his hygUF better.
