Donovan take the chair, seconded by Mr L. Gibb arid carried'. ' The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The two letters from Secretary Hokitika Charitable Aid Board were received' and after lengthy discussion it was decided not to take any notice of them for the present: .. .. The Secretary explained then the financial position and gave an account pi his collecting trip to Bruce Bay District where he was treated with great nospitalitv no one refusing to subscribe their quota towards the Nurses Cottage The collection stands at £l9O 16s 6d. The meeting promised to make goo the deficiency and send the money as soon as they received satisfactory assurance from Hokitika' Charitable Aid Board re building of the cottage.
