POLLARD’S PICTURES.

TO-NIGHT-TWO BIG STARS,

Constance Talmadge and Tom Moore two of the greatest public favourites will be featured in the Select Comedy.' ‘‘The Lesson” by Pollards in the Princess Theatre to-night: “The Lesson” in which Constance Talmadge appears as a young bride married to a husband who is something in the city and who is suffering from that ailment so common to modern husbands, a tight pocket is one that has an appeal to every family. Constance as a bride is captivating enough to tempt the festive, but rare pound note from any stoneyhearted husband—one should think—but in the story her tiglit-wad spouse is immune to her banishments and Connie has to supplement her meagre allowance with odd cheques that she picks bp for decorating work. It’s a good, clean, fresh story that one can take wife or daughter to knowing that they will enjoy it, and a. further enticement is provided in the fact that the girlhood lover who secures the love and affectation that the unworthy husband casts away is no less a favourite than Tom Moore. On Wednesday next the popular child actress Madge Evans will be featured in a big World Film Drama “The Love Net.”
