HONOLULU, Sept. 2. The Prince of Wales issued a message to the Honolulu Press before leaving, expressing his thanks for the kind welucome and the genrous hospitality given to him by Governor McCarthy and everyone. The Prince added:—“l always feel happy amongst Americans, because American life appeals to me greatly, and I have many American friends especially, smee my short visit to the United States last year. I thank the Governor and everyone for allowing me to make my stay entirely private and free from aeremony. I ! thank all concerned :foi* the hospitality ' shown to the ißenown's men. I am delighted to find you are all keen sports I congratulate my friend, Duke Kahanainoku, and the other Hwaiian swimmers, who have been keeping up . the great swimming reputation of Honolulu in the Olympic Games. .<
