Pollards will present the seven reel Essanay comedy “Ruggles of Red Gap, featuring the personality star Taylor Holmes° Henry Wilson’s diverting 'comedy is funny enough as a hook, hut it is one of the best of comedies with a laugh on every foot of it as a picture, “ltuggles is a valet born and bred, and his master took him over the ‘Pond’ with him. He tells his own story of how his master, the honourable George lost him at “draw poker” to the American Johnnies—his exciting trip to “Red Gap.”—his adventures with the “cow persons” and the deadly animal the “high-hehind”—lns part in the bitter struggle for social supremacy between Mrs Bellknap “Hyphen” Jackson and ‘Klondike Kate”-his own rise to social dictatorship—and what lie acquired along with a knowledge of the “Declaration of Independence”—what killed his snobbishness— what made hun acquire a restaurant and become an American business man—and what widow Judson did to him—and the last is the host of the lot. On Thursday Geraldine Farrar m “The Stronger Vow” will be Pollard’s big attraction. Look-out for new sertinf: “The Mystery of 13.”

OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. At the Opera House to-night the AH New Pictures hold their opening night when a capital programme will be given headed by that very popular film actress Billo Burke in the “Misleading Widow.” This is one of those stirring dramas full of amusing situations that the star so ably pourtrays. A full supporting programme will also be screened. Popular prices, ladies upstairs Is Id, ladies and children downstairs 6d gents Is Id. _ A matinee will be given on watuiday afternoon at 2.30 o’clock.
