RETURNED .SOLDIERS’ TICKETS WELLINGTON, August 27.
It is understood that for various reasons a considerable number of returned soldiers have not yet made use of the orders for privilege railway tickets enabling them to travel free for 28 days over the railways of the Dominion. It has been decided that all orders must he exchanged for railway tickets not later than November 2nd next. In effect this means that no privilege railway tickets issued to a soldier will be available after November 30th, when the 28 days will expire. Owing to the very heavy demands that will he made upon the time of the railway staffs in all parts of the Dominion from November onwards, soldiers entitled to claim the privilege tickets are requested to make application for them as early as possible.
