(Our own correspondent.) MAGISTRATE’S COURT. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25th. (Before T. E. Maunsell, Esq.) Five first offenders for being oil licensed premises during prohibited hours, were each fined 20s and costs 7s. Two others charged with similar offences offered reasonable excuses, the cases being dismissed. J. N. Fox (Mr Murdoch) v. J. P. Stnnkey (Mr Joyce) claim £36, .wages due. Order for leave to defend granted. Costs £1 Is allowed plaintiff.—Adjourned to next Court day. .
