REDS IN POLAND. LONDON, August 24. The situation in Poland is extraordinary, for the White Russians are still attacking in Luxemberg area a*id also on the Vistula, north-west of Warsaw, near Plotsk. .German accounts report a Rod retreat in the centre along the east Prussian border, in the direction of Grodno has become a panic, wider pressure of the Polish cavalry, with the Bolshevik commissariat, herds of cattle, cavalry and infantry, mixed in a mass, fleeing homeward. Whole regiments flung away their weapons, the officers using revolvers, vainly attempting restore order.
