Tlie PISTONS ARE OF ALUMINIUM, and produced Jabm- die castings, which effectively prevents pre-ig nition, konking etc., such as occurred in other air cooled engines. :■ tw ,ir'K The engine can be relied upon to very comfortably attain 7 BRAKE HORSE POWER, but the machine is nominally called a 3 H.P. The engine is situated athwart the frame, with the cylinders projecting out each side in order to obtain a sui table and even draught on to each cylinder, thus assisting perfect synchronisation of the two eylinders and equal horse power development. The overall.width of the Engine across the cylinders is so short that the foot-rests and mudsjiields; aro much wider than the engine, thereby preventing damage in the case of a fall.
