Waddington took 4 for 40 and 4 for' 32. Rhodes split his finger. Lancashire beat Gloucester. The championship order is now Middlesex, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Kent, Surrey. • • . Batting averages.—Hendren is first with 07, Hobbs second, 56, Hearne third, Russell 50, Makepeace ninth, Bowling. —Rhodes first, Woolley, second, Howell sixth, Parkiu eighth, Hearno eleventh, Waddington thirteenth.
