KIWIS V. ROSS. The above match took place at Ross on Saturday afternoon and resulted, in a draw the scores being 3 to 3. The game was exciting throughout and there was some good open play. Ross won the toss and played with a slight, breeze, behind them. Kate in the first half from a forward rush the ball went over the line and Scott following up scored a try which was unconverted. In the second half the Kiwis livened up and had the local team on the defence nearly all through. Early in this half, Hannan, getting the ball from n five yards scrum, went round the side and after heating a couple of his opponets scored a nice try, which he failed to convert.
