WEDDING DELLS.

The marriage was solemnised at All Saints’ Church by the Rev Dr Holloway on Wednesday morning, of Mr F- Brown eldest son of Air and Mrs T. Brown, or Davey Street, and Aliss Winifred Eva (Sister) Palmer, seventh daughter of the late John and Airs Palmer, of Bealcy Street. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr AV. E. Richards, was neatly attired in a costume of navy blue, and a large navy blue velvet lint. She carried a white prayer-book with streamers. She was attended by her sister Ada as bridesmaid. The latter wore a grey costume and a black hat relieved with cerise. She also carried a white prayer-hook with streamers. Air J. Bartow performed the duties of best man. As the happy couple retired to the vestry Aliss Davies ably played the Wedding March, and prior to the ceremony the hymn, “A A r oice that breathed o’er Eden” was sung. On leaving the Church the bride and bridegrom were deluged with confetti and rice. The party then motored to the residence of the bride’s mother,! where an ample breakfast awaited them and where congratulations were received and the usual toasts honoured. Air and Airs Brown, who are settling in Hokitika, left for Reefton, where the honeymoon is being spent. They were the recipients of many useful and valuable presents.
