AMERICA AND JAPAN.

SERIOUS JAPANESE ATTITUDE

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ) TOKIO, August- 10. Tlie newspaper “Kokumin Stimbun” considered the organ of the militarist groups, has a printed article asserting that America is fostering disloyalty among the people of Japan, and American missionaries in Korea are using the cloak of Christianity to instil into Japanese the sentiment that America is using Japanese educators, thinkers and business men as tools to spread dangerous thoughts to destroy military discipline and influence among Japanese youth, to avoid conscription and foment labour troubles. America is puffed up since the war, and considers herself the sole arbiter of the world.
