A FAST TRIP. NEW YORK, August 9. The Cunarder Acquitania, which sailed from New York on 31st July created a new record. She oovered the last 129 miles to Cherbourg on Friday in three hours forty-two- minutes, an average of 27.4 knots, or thirty-one land miles.
