Tbp others have arrived at Tajrna safely, . DROWNING ACCIDENT. INVERCARGILL, August 10 The police have been informed that a young man named Cox was drowned at Port Craig this afternoon while loading stores on to a launch. The body was recovered. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE- A MASTERTON, Aug £. A man named William Reid, a married man, aged about 30 years, wag admitted to the Masterton Hospital yesterday, with a wound in his peck Selfinflicted with a razor. The injuries are not likely to prove fatal.
