Armstrong (Dunollie). AVe regret to record the death of another sterling colonist, Mrs Dougins, wife of Air Patrick Douglas of Woodstock, passing away this morning about 9.30 o’clock. The deceased was a native of County Galway, Ireland and was 71 yenrse of age. She c ame to New Zealand 55 years ago and was married in Hokitika residing in this district ever since and rearing a large family. A bereaved husband and family of seven are left to mourn tlm'r loss. There are two sons (Patrick and John) well-known settlers at AVaitaha, and five daughters all married (Airs. O. Tee of Auckland, Mrs AVindJebuVn of Wanganui, Airs G. Jones of Greymouth and Airs A. Anderson of Woodstock, and Airs D. Kelly of AA r oodsto c k). The sympathy of the community will be extended to tlie bereaved relatives in their loss.
