The points in dispute will be tlie Council’s proposal to permit publication of totalisator dividends and the despatch of ! betting telegrams to racecourses. ' A COMPROMISE. ' Mr Hunter’s Gaming Bill No 2 proj posing the issue of 38 extra totalisator permits is being canvassed keenly. Tlie original proposal was an increase if 58 and reduction to 38 is a compromise that may have an effect on the fate of the Bill.
