FOOTBALL.
The second round of the Southern Division Cup competition is set down to be commenced to-morrow afternoon. Two games are to be played on Cass Square,—Kiwis v. Excelsiors to be commenced at 1.30 p.m., and Diggers v. Koka tahi at 3 p.m. In the first round Kiwis beat Excelsiors by 22 to 3, and Diggers beat Kokatalii by 6 to 0. Both games should provide good contests. The other game is Kumara v. Ross at Kumara. When they met at Ross the first round, Ross won by 3 to .1. The following will represent the Kiwis against Excelsiors to-morrow — R. Ross, Kearns, Hale, Wilson, O’Connor, Shannon, Cutbush, Powley, Hannah, Irving, Kortegast, Stopfortli, Woolhouse, Glass Wilmott; emergencies—Jones, C. Cutbush. The following will represent the Excelsiors in their match with Kiwis tomorrow on Cass Square at 1.30 o’clock. Wogan, McDonald, Chetwynd, Maunder Wogan A., Ross, Bethune, Eras;r, Davidson, Cutbush, Breeze, Graham, Tibbies, Mndgwiek, Brown. Emergen cies: Forwards D. Heenan and W. Thompson, back: G. McKay. All players are requested to be‘on rbo ground at 1.13 o’clock sharp.
