ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. At the above yards yesterday, there was again a small yarding of cattle, the bulk of which were medium weight bullocks. There was a representative attendance of.buyers and competition was keen, beef being £3 per hundred throughout the sale. .Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold the following on account of Mr G. Nisson. 2 bullocks at £l7 10s, 3 at '£l6 7s 6d j 3 at £l3 12s 6d, 3 at £l3 2s 6d, 2 at £ll 10s, 1 at £ll 7s (id, 2 cows at £ls, 1 at £l4 12s 6d. On account of Geo. Lowe’s estate, 3 calves at 2os each 2 dry cows £4 12s Gd. On account of Mr T. O’Neil, 62 fat wethers at 465. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report as follows:—We held our fortnightly sale at the above yards on Monday, our yarding comprising 37 bead of prune cattle. The usual buyers were present, and competition was very keen, beef realising 60s to 65s per hundred. MM sold oil account of Mr R. A. Harconrt Senr 2 bollocks at £l7 ss, 2 at £ls 17s 6d, 3 at £l6 15s, 1 cow at £l6 15s; on account of Mr R- A. Hnreourt, Jnr., 3 bullocks at £2O 2s 6d, 4at £2O ss, 4 £^ 8 . 5s ’ 1 cow at £l9; on account of Diedrichs Estate 2 bullocks at £2O 10s, 2 at £22 2s 6d 2at £2O 10s, 2at £l9 5s,S at £24 sb, 1 at £2O ss, 1 at £22 12s 6d . heifers at £ls 15s, 3 light heifers at £l2 7s 6d; (privately) on occount of W. • Lnieson, 14 mixed cattle at £l4 lOs,^ at £l3; on account of Diednchs c .
