Roth failed to cross the line before the expiration of two minutes from the official starting time. Roth were two seventeen flat. Hie Shamrock led across. PARTICULARS OF RACE. (Received this day at 12.20 n.m) VANCOUVER, July 27. Working better to the windward, tho Resolute reduced' the lead and at 4.20 passed the Shamrock. The wind was fluky. Hie actual start was Shamrock 2.17.5 and the Resolute 40 seconds latei*.
