SYRIAN METHODS. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) CAIRO July 25. A dramatic incident preceded the Syrian acceptance of the French ultimatum. The Syrian Congress at Damascus heatedly discussed the situation, and rejected the Ministry’s conciliatory advice. The Ministry. tendered its resignation, which Feisal refused to accept. A delegation of extremists called at the Palace later and said if the Ministry does not fall, you will fall. Feisal ordered the instant arrest of the delegation, and the internment in the citadel. The mob attacked the citadel and released the delegation, whereupon Feisal’s partisans fought the extremists for tuo days. The outbreak ended with the approach of the French troops.
