THE ROW IN BELFAST. LONDON, July 22
X mob lias wrecked the Falls road Post Office in Belfast. The police fired on the crowd, wqunding a soldier and several civilians. . Three more people were killed in Belfast in the evening, including a priest. **- -A crowd invaded a distillery with a view to inciting the workers to strike. Order was restored after the arrival ol a Lewis gun detachment. Stone-throw-in- continued in the streets and looting prewailed, thousands of windows being smashed. Firing by troops occurred m the shipyards. A crowd armed with picks endeavoured to enter, but were repulsed by troops, after suffering several casualties, three being killed.
MILITARY AND POLICE ATTACKED.
LONDON, July 22
The garrison of marines at Howes Strand coastguard station, after an hour’s fighting were overpowered by a party of 100 men, who stole the rifles and ammunition. One of the rait ors were killed. A sharp exchange of shots occurred between a masked man and some police going to Ballina barracks. A sergeant was shot dead, and a constable dangerously wounded, A Dublin Castle communique states 15 civilians attacked two military officers returning from Ewiistymon hairacks. Shots were fired by the officers, killing one and wounding several civilians. °riiq officers were !'°t hurt.
