HOCKLEY SHIELD. AUCKLAND. July 10. The first challenge match of the .season for the New Zealand Hockey Shield took place between Nelson and Auckland on Saturday. Auckland retaining the shield with a score of seven goals to one. For Auckland, goals were scored by Grice, (four), Robertshnw, D. Alexander and Mackcn, and for Nelson by Dee.
