THE POLISH DISASTER. WARSAW, July 11
Poles, realising that they must be self reliant, are splendidly rallying for home defence. Nearly half a. million additional war workers have enlisted, of which one hundred thousand are in active service. The police volunteered ei masse. Shoemakers ate organising a regiment named Skillinski, in memory of the famous cobbler hero of the struggle of 1784. WARSAW, July 11.
A communique states under strong pressure, the Poles have fallen back from Beresina lines. Bolsheviks crossed tlie Pripet but were driven back with heavy loses. To the south of the Pripet the Poles have fallen back to the sides of Sarny. Bolsheviks have occupied Sarny. Poles have fallen back to Podolia, according to plan.
BRITISH LABOUR AND RUSSIA LONDON, July 12.
At the Albert Ha-11 a big gathering was held to welcome the British Labour delegates who have returned from Russia.
The meeting passed a resolution, protesting against the duplicity of Britain and her Russian policy. The meeting pledged its effort to prevent any more capitalistic filbustering in future.
