TURKISH PEACE TREATY, WASHINGTON; July 8

According to authoritative advices, it is understood that the Allies will not ro_ quest Turkey to sign the Peace Treaty until the Allied forces drive out the Nationalist troops from tile vicinity of Constantinople. Thus the Allies will remove the basis of the Turkish Governments plea that it cannot carry out the terms of the Treaty, due to Nationalist activities.
