SALE OF DAIRY STOCK
M essrs M .Houston and Co. report as follows:—\Ve held a very successful sale of Mr J. Myers’ dairy herd at Woodstock yesterday, there being a large attendance of buyers. ■'Competition was very keen lor all good sorts, a good Jersey cow topped the sale at £l7 2s 6d. We sold 1 cow at £l3, 2at £l2 2s 6d, 1 at £lO, 1 at £l3, 1 at £9 7s 6d, I at £l7 2s 6, 1 at £l2 ss, 3 at £9, 1 at £lO, 1 at £B, 4 aged cows from £7, to £5, a heifer at £9 ss, 5 calves for £9 12s" 6d tlie line, 2 at £2 Is, trap and harness £3O, 1 aged pony at £5, 4 shares in Run for £2B.
