abdincton stock market. INCREASED PRICES. (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs Matson and Co. report as Follows regarding their stock sale yestciday:— 3 Pat Cattle,—A medium yarding com. prising many pens of excellent steers. All good stuff was very firm at last week’s rates, but medium and unfinished were slightly easier. Best bullocks so id to £3O, one pen of extra making £37 10s; prime £2l 10s to £27; medium, £l4 I.os to £1.9 10s. Best heifers t 0 £l9, others £lO 10s to £l6. Best cows sold to £l9, others £8 15s to £l4 10s. Store cattle.—Another small yarding and prices were on a- par with last week. Store sheep.—A small entry and decided rises in all classes of slice)) especially iu hoggets and ewes. Best hogget's sold up to 26s 6d, others 22s to 24 s; best owes up to 36s 6d. Others from 25s to 80s. No wethers were yarded. . Store sheep.-'fhese were decidedly firmer than hist wefcit, hut there were really no quotable lines offering. f’ai. sheep.—A smaller yarding than last week, and the market was decidedly firmer. Best wethers sold to 59s (id; prime 44s to 53s 6d; medium 39s 6d to 435; lighter and unfinished 34s 6d to 425. Ewes sold correspondingly well, one line from the Most Coast making 26s to 30s. Freezing buyers were unable to operate, the market being too dear. "
