IN THE DEVASTATED REGIONS (Received this dav at 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, July 4. An official statement with reference to the recovery of the devastated regions shows that of- 3700 industrial establishments, 2820 have resumed work. The establishments employed 706,000 workers before the war npd are now employing 285,000. Marked progress is reported in the textile districts, notably Lille,' where sixty-three per cent, of prewar operatives lire being employed, while regarding the woollen industry the figures for Lille is ninety per cent, and the woollen industry for Roubaix ninety-six per cent.
