BANKING MATTERS. In the House of Representatives Mr Edie (Bruce), intends to ask the Minister for Finance whether he nil! state the amount of coinage held h.v the various banks for the years 1014 and 1919. Mr Powdrell (Patea) will ask the Government whether, in view of the associated banks’ decision to largely curtail future credit to dairy and other companies intending to build nr extend their operations, and seeing the importance at this time for the building of new works to manufacture our primalv products in this country, they will consider the question of assisting such new schemes, financially or otherwise, if worthy of support P
