(By Electric Telegraph—Gopyngnt. GOLD FOR AMERICA. (Received this day, at 9.80 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, July 2. Gold totalling 6,600,000 dollars has arrivqd from Hong Kong, on account of the British Government, bringing the total to date to 78 millions. It is believed the gold will be used in paying off the Anglo-French loan. ANGLO-JAP ALLIANCE. (Received this day, at 9.30 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, July 2. According to advices from Tokio the proposed changes in the Anglo-Japane.se Alliance cabled on 26th June, will not he mndo unless United States joins the League.
