There is no confirmation of the report that the Albanians have captured Valona./ On the contrary, telegrams from Vnlonn state the Italian plenipotentary, Giotto, arrived to-day, and will endeavour to negotiate a settlement with the Albanians. The town is quiet.
REPORTED GREEK LOSS. LONDON, July 2.
Constantinople reports the Sultan lias just received news that the Turks have captured the town of Pcrgama, 58 miles north of Smyrna, and they have taken several thousand Greeks prisoners. No confirmation has been received, but there lias been no Greek communique issued for two days.
