iH-H CrtSSS ASSOC* > COIN . —riII’YRIGHT.; FOUND DEAD. CHRISTCHURCH, July 1. The body of George Leonard Bowron was found near Brighton Beach ,n circumstances pointing to suicide. Deceased was 33, single, and eldest son of (Tfeorge Bowron member of the firm of Bowron Brothers. Alongside the body was a revolver, two chambers of which had been discharged into the deceased’s mouth. In the pocket of his coat were two letters marked strictly private, one addressed to Ids father. Deceased wa.s well-known in motoring and musical circles. LICENSING ACT. TUVfAItU, July 1. At the -Magistrate’s Court, Richmond Wilkes, for having sold liquor at Pa reora without being licensed to do so, was fined £lo and costs.
