••<©«■ POLLARD’S PICTURES. TO-NIGHT! TO-NIGHT! The evergreen happy and smiling Tom Moore in the latest Goldwvn comedy drama entitled “One of the Finest” will ho Pollards special attraction at the Princess Theatre to-night. Tom plays the part of Larry Hayes an Irish policeman and Seena Owen plays the part of Francis Hudson, the. daughter of a wealthy American aristocrat. The first time they met they fought; the second time they met they fell in love. It must have been his blue coat and silver buttons, or else his Irish smile—or perhaps it was his eyes and his smile. Anyway, Seena Owen has “some” eyes, and Tom’s got “some” smile, so we’ll say it was both. Toni’s mother said that an Irishman always makes the best, husband, and she knew something. The supporting subjects in. dude the latest Pathe Gazette, and a Century Comedy, entitued “Wild Animals at Large.”

McLEAN’S PICTURES. •Tin:, COLD CUKE.”—TUESDAY. Viola Dana, the popular young .Metro star is the attraction in “The Gold Cure,” a comedy drama of decided charm and originality on Tuesday evening. The trials and tribulations of her friends, owing to the lack of young men in the town, becomes monotonous to fun-loving Aniiiee, who has ideas of her own about a town where nothing but girls and elderly married people are left. With originality and determination she sets about remedying the" situation and her successes are a. surprise even to herself—so strangely are they brought about. The idea of capturing two handsome and eligible young men with a box of carpet tacks would not have occurred to anyone but Annice, but her charm and beauty prove as deadly as the tacks, and once in town the young men are there for good. Miss Dana, puts all the charm of her youthful personality into this delightful comedy and the result is at once pleasing and satisfying.
