OPENING TO-DAY. WELLINGTON, June 24
The weather, which lias been wet nd cold for the past twenty-four hours, lias every appearance for improving for the opening of the first session of the twentieth Parliament.
At 2.30 p.m., the King’s Commission will be read in the new Legislative Council chamber by lion. Carncross (Speaker of the Legislative Council) S>>* F. D. 8011, Sir Wm. Fraser, Sir John Buchanan ancl Hon. rlnrdv M.L.C.s’. After the reading of the Commission members' of the House will proceed to elect'a Speaker.
PARLIAMENT OPENED. WELLINGTON, June 24. Parliament was opened at 2.30 this afternoon by Commission.
